Going Home

All good things must come to an end. We had breakfast as usual. Then we finally caught the turtles on film. They are huge and very hungry. They liked the leaves we were tossing at them. A short bus ride to the Kona airport later we bought more stuff, including fresh pineapple which Gen just loves. The airport is so quaint. It is open air so it was also a little warm. A short flight to Honolulu, then the 5 1/2 hour flight back to Seattle. We were so happy to see the kids, even though they were asleep. They got big hugs, cuddles, and kisses from us. Next time we come to Hawaii I believe we decided on Kaui. Maybe when the kids are a little older....

Panorama view outside our room from the patio. Not a perfect merge, but you get the idea
