On our way home from Cincinnati we took a detour for a night to Detroit to see old Tiger Stadium before it closed. The drive was quite long but it was worth the trip. Well, the stadium is old, but just the history of the place is amazing. Everything felt closed in, the hallways, the lower decks, the seats, but it is a great place to catch a ballgame. We came early and got to see some batting practice. Our seats were right along foul territory and Dan just barely missed picking up a grounder that ran along the fence. It was a warm humid night and we actually took a few pictures this time, despite having just a 35mm camera (no digital).
