We traded in the minivan for this 2005 VW Beetle TDI. It gets 40 mpg on regular diesel.

We didn't pick it for it's color, but it has everything we want.

We will be going with biodiesel. No more dependence on middle eastern oil

With at 14.5 gallon tank, that would be about 700 miles between fill ups.

It also has a sunroof and fog lights, two of Dan's favorite features. Gen has confirmed the stereo also rocks pretty good (and it plays MP3s!)
