This is our second visit to the Humbert H. Humphrey Metrodome (aka "The Homerdome"), but the first visit for the kids. This is a terrible place for baseball and the Twins got crushed on this night. That said, it was still a fun night with Gen's mom and neighbors, Rick, Janine, Jay, and Ella. This town's best ballpark has to be the home of the Saint Paul Saints. We will definitely go there next visit to the Twin Cities and avoid the Metrodome like the plague. I am sure it is a decent place to watch football in the middle of a Minnesota winter.

Batting Practice

We sat in the general admission area in left field

There were a few BP homers hit just in front of us

All the former Twins greats, and check out the great sky boxes. Not! As you can tell, this place was built for football.

This place does have a couple things that Safeco Field lacks....

Is it any wonder that players have trouble with routine fly balls in this place? This is the view looking up.

Hmmm, I think I like Safeco Field much better

This kid ate one hotdog, a red rope, some candy, and helmet sundae at the game!

Forgot to get a picture before we entered it, but here is the night view. And no, it was not snowing, not sure where all those white lights came from...
