We started the month of June at one of our favorite places, Safeco Field.
The local minor league team, The Everett Aquasox, had their pre-season fan festival. We all had a lot of fun as they let you hit Batting Practice, throw speed pitch, jump in the bounce house, get painted, and of course eat hot dogs and ice cream. .
Drew's class took an end of the year field trip to the Seattle Aquarium and Ballard Locks, while Gen chaperoned.
Dan finally got around to painting the front door a welcoming shade. He had some help from his favorite two little people.
We had a BBQ with friends over for Gen's birthday this year.
This year Alexa got to start T-ball and she really enjoys it.
Drew's school field day.
Alexa's last day of preschool singing program.
Summer is in full effect. Dan build the kids a "wash" to run through on the very hot days. That evening we went to the Mariner's game where Ken Griffey Jr made his return back to Seattle. He received a long standing ovation as well as gifts from some of his former teammates and the Mariner's. We could sure use him at DH.
Once school got out, we hightailed it out of town to Seaside, Oregon for a fun and relaxing beach vacation. The kids wasted no time getting into the sea.
Today we started at the fun park. Go Karts and Bumper Boats! Another afternoon at the beach of course.
More beach time along with some ballet lessons for the kids.
The Aquarium in Seaside is only good for feeding the seals, it's too bad you have to pay the admission price to do it as there is not much else there.
A trip to the Oregon coast is incomplete without a trip to the Tillamook Creamery to get some cheese samples and a big ice cream cone.
