Max came over and had some sprinkler fun in the back yard on a nice sunny summer day.

The first part of our vacation this summer was in Minnesota to visit Gen's mom and brother. We went to the Children's Museum, visited a fire truck, and Alexa sat in a highchair for the very first time. Boy do these kids grow up fast!
We got to see the Minnesota Twins get crushed in their terrible baseball facility. Atleast the food and company were great!
Next stop, West Lafayette for the Cool Mommies Get together. A bunch of families all with children born in February 2000 met again this summer at the Walker house. The kids had a bunch of fun running around and playing together, while all the parents hung out and chatted. Be sure to ask Gen about the slumber parties! Here are the photos we are allowed to post.
Day 2 in Indiana was spent first at a picnic lunch at Tania and John's house. It started out decent, then a huge thunderstorm hit and all 30 of us were forced inside. Dinner was at Suzi and Bill's place.

Here are some of the pictures of Gen as a baby and child. Dan got Gen's mom to mail a bunch of pictures to our friend Suzi. She did her magic on some of them and created some great posters of Gen. We were all very pleased with the work.

Day 3 in Indiana was a picnic along the river. Lots of fun in the playground for kids and dads alike. Oh, but the heat and humidity...
On to Cincinnati to see Dan's Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. First there was a Father's Day barbeque with the family. Everyone simply loved Alexa. The next night we hit the best rib joint in the land, Montegomery Inn. Downtime with the kids in diapers and we let Drew man the camera for a few shots.
Another week, another ballpark. The new Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. We didn't get to see Junior play, as he was still on the DL. We still saw a great game at a great ballpark.
King's Island is one of the best roller coaster amusement parks in the country. We hit just about every coaster in the park and had an absolute blast. Drew even went on a couple of coasters. However, due to the danger of Alexa not wearing socks, she was not allowed to ride the merri-go-round! Then we headed back to Indiana and then Minneapolis for the flight home.
First day home from vacation, Dan had to go pickup Drew's new bedroom set. Let's just say it's a good thing Honda makes the van as big as they do...........
Alexa gets her first taste of baby food!
Fun back home. Backyard, ballgame, and in the family room.
