| We originally we were going to be in Anaheim on 9/11/2001, but our plans
were pushed back slightly. Dan had some work in Anaheim Hills, so he booked
a hotel just down the road from Disneyland and brought Gen and Drew along.
We had a morning flight and were in the park that afternoon. We managed
to see a lot of the characters this first day. We so love Disneyland!!!

| Another afternoon trip to Disneyland, after Dan put in time at work. We
grabbed some dinner and then hit some rides before closing time. |

| We took one day to drive down to Legoland to meet Gen's friend Theresa
with daughter Mattea. The kids ran themselves ragged on all kinds of play
areas. It was a pretty cool place, Dan wishes he was still a kid and fit
on the rides. |

(OK, one of like 10 favorite things at Disneyland: Mickey, Tigger, the rides,
Donald Duck, Indiana Jones ride, the churros, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain
railroad....) |

| Our last morning we hit a couple of our favorite rides one last time:
Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and then California Adventures
for the first time. The Roller Coaster is incredibly awesome, as it accelerates
via magnets on flat ground and is one heck of a rush. |
