A nice little snow storm to help bring in December. |
After the snow, it warmed up and poured rain down for about 36 hours.
Not just the usual light rain, but heavy rain continuously. Several places
near us had severe flooding (Woodinville), but here is what our yard looked
like at the peak water level. |
Deb and Lyla come back from Europe to visit and stay with us. |
The cousins became fast friends, Alexa likes having a "little sister"
to hang out with. |
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas... |
Alexa had her 5th birthday party at a local craft shop. This was the quietest
party we have ever been too, as the kids were busy making things out of
all the supplies. Everyone had a lot of fun and Lex got to put her handprints
up on the ceiling. She also got the double duty of the family party and
gifts that evening. Poor kid. |
A preschool Christmas singing show and cookie eating party. |
Alexa's birthday and we did our traditional holiday trip downtown. She
got to pick out the lunch and we crashed at the Camlin Hotel in our timeshare.
The Cougar Hardwood Classic at KeyArena. Gen got us excellent seats and
a great time was had by all as the Cougs got the win. They were the #6 ranked
team in the country at this point.
Our house gets fuller as more relatives arrive for the holidays.
Christmas Eve fun.
Merry Christmas!
The kids and Aunts all had fun decorating Christmas cookies.
More presents, from Grandpa Curry.
Everyone except Dan, who had to work, headed downtown to check out the
Seattle Aquarium.
Since Grandpa Curry visited, we took the requisite photos.
