We finished our tour of baseball stadiums closing in 1999 by sneaking in a trip to San Francisco. Dan was already going to be in Nor-Cal on a motorcycle trip with his Dad and we bought Gen a plane ticket to fly down on Saturday morning and fly home Sunday morning as she was pregnant at the time. Dan's Dad was supposed to come along but he got a flat tire on his motorcycle in Berkeley and never made it. Dan made it to the game, but his bike broke down on the way back to his hotel in Sacramento. Some trip! This was a cool ballpark and great place to catch a game. However is it a ways south of downtown San Francisco and kind of lonely out past a semi-industrial area and some parking lots. The San Francisco 49ers still play their football games here. Still before digital, so the pictures are sparse.
